Message from Lesley Ann
"I'm a full-time architecture, urban landscape, and graphic designer, currently working at a design firm in Manhattan. Malapit Design is my personal 'think tank', where I test out new concepts, techniques, and technologies; from it, I post products and reflections. Sometimes what I produce is well-received by the world, and sometimes it's a gamble. Nonetheless, the openness of exploration keeps me going. Quite literally it exists wherever I go- with my laptop, smart phone, and sketchbook in a café, at my apartment, or at the airport waiting to fly home to Cali for Christmas.
Born from Malapit Design is ANTHROPOLESLEY, a brand that describes the life of a wide-eyed, jet-set dilletante, constantly looking at the world through the lense of an architect- to be inspired and therefore to inspire. Products include digitally hand-crafted graphics which are custom-printed on apparel, home products, and digital craft paper. Other products include a curated closet of vintage-modern finds from my travels.
In retrospect, this process of testing new skills and thinking creatively challenges me to grow, improve my products, and in turn improve my confidence as a leader in the architecture industry. It's a feedback loop- a viciously healthy cycle of staying on the edge!"
